Wandsworth Town Hall has long been a bucket list venue for me. So when Sarah & Jono got in touch and said “Hey, do you wanna come and shoot our wedding? We’re getting married at Wandsworth Town Hall.” I was keen as mustard. This was just a fun-filled, chilled-out extravaganza from start to finish.

When you stop, close your eyes and think ‘wedding’, what do you think about? Laughter? Family? Chilled-out vibes? Good food (and booze) and a banging dance floor? Good. We’re on the same page! Wandsworth Town Hall was the perfect backdrop for this amazing couple to tie the knot, and L’Affaire was second to none as a wedding reception host. Seriously, if you’re in the market for a Wandsworth venue with great staff, food and vibes, check them out.

It must be said that a venue is only as good as the wedding, and the wedding is only as good as the couple. Thanks to Sarah & Jono, this day was one of those ‘trifecta’ weddings. They were both amazing and so chilled out from start to finish and they made my job effortless. That super-chilled vibe meant the emotion and fun just flowed and gave me moments galore all day long. My favourite!

For me, this was one of the coolest weddings of the year and was everything I imagined it would be from my chats with Sarah & Jono before the day. Remember that list of things a wedding should be about? This covered the lot, with bells on! This was exactly what a wedding day should be; relaxed, buckets of fun and full of amazing people determined to wring every drop of awesome out of the experience.

If you’ve not already ‘grasped the nettle’, I bloody love a good London wedding. Spaces like Wandsworth Town Hall and L’Affaire give you so many different opportunities to make cool, interesting photos, as does the walk from one to the other. Often, I can walk away from a wedding with one or two stand-out moments from the day that really make me smile, but this one was just full of them.

When I look back through these photos, all I can think about is Sarah’s giant smile, that she wore all day. Jono greeting me at Wandsworth Town Hall with a giant hug, like we’d been mates for years. Sarah’s Brother, Sharif, making a speech that had me welling up behind my camera. Seriously, you don’t have enough time for me to keep going, you’re just going to have to trust me!

To Sarah & Jono – Thank you so so much! You guys are absolute rock stars and I’m so grateful to have been a part of your day. Next time I’m in town, we’re grabbing that beer!
