Swynford Manor Documentary Wedding Photographer

This was my first visit to Swynford Manor and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Louise & Jim’s wedding was circled on our calendar right from our first Skype call, because we knew this was going to be right up our street. Ask us who our ‘ideal’ kind of couple are, these guys are it! Louise & Jim wanted minimal ‘formalities’ and just wanted to focus on having the best day with their families & friends. Well, mission accomplished! This was a day full of just that; fun, laughter, family and documentary gold.

Documentary Wedding Photographer

As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m always on the lookout for real storytelling moments. When we arrived at Swynford Manor in the morning, Jess and I headed up to the ‘prep room’ to meet Louise and the girls and I was instantly excited. A room with dark grey walls and only one window would cause panic for some, but I knew this would give me the chance to make some really dynamic photos. Couple that with a Bride and Groom who just want me to dive into the thick of it and concentrate on telling the story and I’m a very happy boy.

Massive thanks to both Louise & Jim for having us along. Jess and I had an amazing day with you all. And Louise, a special thank you to you for just smiling and laughing all day long! Big thanks to all your friends and family as well, who were so welcoming and really gave you guys a dream day.

Here are my favourites from this amazing day at Swynford Manor. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. If you’re interested in me shooting your day, don’t hesitate to get in touch and check my availability.

Cheers for now…
