Okay, it’s true to say that every wedding is a unique, but Allison & Alex’s Palazzo Marziale wedding was truly one of a kind! Palazzo Marziale is a gorgeous 15th century building in the heart of Sorrento, Italy, and has been hosting weddings for a long, long time. But, Allison & Alex are the first people EVER to hold their ceremony in the beautiful, foliage-filled hotel lobby! Was that the plan all along? Nope! Allison & Alex were originally holding their ceremony in the cloisters over the road, but the heavens decided to open 90 mins before their ceremony and just refused to stop!

Plan B was to hold the ceremony under the porticoes around the sides of the cloisters, but between us all, we decided the hotel lobby was the perfect setting! At this point I have to give a massive shout-out to Rita, the manager at Palazzo Marziale. Without her calmness and quick thinking, plan C would never have happened. But she made it happen and she smashed it!! She’s a legend.

The hotel lobby made the perfect backdrop for Allison & Alex’s beautiful, intimate ceremony and the uniqueness of the setting made it even more special. We all came out of there saying “that was even better and more emotional than we ever thought was possible”.
