I’ve been looking forward to shooting a Knowlton Court wedding for ages! So when Helen & Kieran got in touch and told me about their plans and mentioned their venue, I said a little ‘thank you’ to the universe!
I first met Helen & Kieran over a coffee in Canterbury last year. Right from our first chat, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing. I also couldn’t have asked for a more lovely couple to work with. Both Helen & Kieran were so chilled out on the day, despite the changeable weather, and they just got stuck in to having a brilliant time with their friends and family.
Knowlton Court Wedding
Knowlton Court is just one of those places you look at and say “wow”! Wherever you look there are cool photos to be made. And, if you get a day like these guys had, you get a chance to test them all out! Helen & Kieran were originally planning an outdoor ceremony, which was still on until about an hour before it was all due to kick off. Then the rain came. A lot of it. Did they let that spoil their day? Not a chance. We managed to duck out between showers to shoot some groups and grab some portraits before dinner, but the evening was beyond perfect.
As soon as everyone had eaten and the speeches were done, the sun came out and the skies cleared. I was a bit nervous I wouldn’t get chance to use that gorgeous long driveway at Knowlton Court, but I needn’t have worried. Thank you universe!
