Hayne House Wedding

There are ways to make an entrance at your wedding, and then there is Liz’s arrival at Hayne House. An open-top camper, complete with her Bride squad, champagne flowing and ready for action. Like I said, there are ways to make your arrival. This was one of the best of the year!

Now, there is also a lesson here for all you future Brides out there. No matter what happens weather-wise on the day, strap on a smile and enjoy yourself. I know I know, the weather is really important, but it’s not everything. And you’re not going to do this again (hopefully!), so this is your day. Come rain or shine, it’s your wedding day and it’s there to be enjoyed! Liz & Dan started with the latter but quickly got a healthy dose of the former! Did they let it ruin their day? Not a chance!

Plans had to be tweaked at the last minute, Dan’s arrival by helicopter being the primary one (I know, gutted!) but Liz & Dan still had an amazing day at Hayne House, as you’ll see from all the smiles. Rain can also give you some pretty funky opportunities for portraits, so it really should be embraced.

How did I come to be back at Hayne House two days after my first visit of 2018? A couple of years ago I shot Liz’s Sister’s wedding. So, when Liz got in touch to ask me to shoot her big day with Dan, there was only ever going to be one answer.

Right, enough ramble from me. Let’s roll up our sleeves and dive into some photos. Huge thanks to Liz & Dan for having Jess and I along for the day. What a day! You guys rock!
