There are two overwhelming truths from this wedding; a DIY wedding is amazing fun, and a Great Bower Barn wedding is the perfect spot to host it! Now that you know those two things, let me introduce you to the third, and most important element to this epic wedding day, Leanne & Sam. I’ve known this brilliant pair for a few years now, back when I used to shoot some photos for the musical theatre production they are both part of. I don’t think I’ve ever seen either of them without a smile on their face. There is nothing better than spending some time with people who just love and embrace life to its fullest. And MAN ALIVE these two do that!

Great Bower Barn Wedding

Leanne & Sam created a Great Bower Barn wedding to rival any other, of that I’m certain. I’ve been a part of a DIY wedding or two in my career, but this one smashed it out the park! They put so much effort into creating a brilliant experience for their friends and family, and they made everything you see in these photos!! All the games, all the decorations, everything!!

Also, things you want on your tick-list for a super-fun and emotional wedding day: Groom surprising his Bride with a song, accompanied by members of the congregation, during the ceremony. Tick! A talent show sing-along as part of the reception. Tick! Space hopper racing AND a high jump contest in the evening. Tick! And for a finale, a Bride & Groom DJ battle. TICK! Seriously, I don’t think they could have packed anything else into the day!
