If there’s one thing in the world that’s true, it’s this; an East Quay Wedding is always a super-fun wedding! When you add people like Hollie & Richard into the mix, it makes it 100 times better! Weddings can often be all about ‘tradition’. But they certainly don’t have to be. The thing I love most about being a wedding photographer is when I get to shoot weddings that are nothing about tradition. They’re all about the couple at the centre of it. Zero tradition, everything personalised to what the couple love. They’re always the best one’s!
Hollie & Richard did exactly that. No cake cut, they smashed the crap out of a piñata instead. No first dance, they opted for a first swim during the drinks reception! Yeah, that was a hell of a call!
East Quay Wedding
So, if you’ve not been there before, The East Quay venue is nestled right on the beach in the gorgeous seaside town of Whitstable. You get to have your drinks on the beach, sample the famous Whitstable oysters, and party the night away with the sea right there!
Hollie & Richard got caught up in the covid postponement time, so we all had to wait for the fun to kick off, but man alive was it worth the wait!

If you’ve landed here because you’re planning your own amazing East Quay wedding and you’re still after your photographer, you may well have just found him! I’d love to hear more about your plans, so get in touch and let’s get the ball rolling. I do book a limited number of weddings every year and peak dates tend to get booked out pretty quickly, so let’s get cracking.
Right then, that’s more than enough from me. Time to check out the amazing story of Hollie & Richard. Massive love to them both for having me and letting me be a part of this incredible day. Enjoy…
