As a Whitstabublian, an East Quay wedding is always very much towards the top of my excitement list. So when Sophie & Ben got in touch and asked me to shoot their East Quay wedding on a glorious summer’s day back in July, I was chomping at the bit to get cracking.
The East Quay wedding venue is an amazing space, right on the beach, with a super chilled-out vibe, which suited Sophie & Ben down to the ground. The venue was also beautifully complimented by the amazing floral work of Jane and team at Graham Greener. If you’re in the market for a florist, go chat with Jane.
From my first couple of chats with them, I knew this was going to be a cracker. Both Sophie & Ben wanted a fun-filled day and plenty of time to enjoy themselves with their friends and family with as little ‘formality’ as possible. My ideal kind of day.
East Quay Wedding
Sometimes, the stars just align and everything comes together perfectly on a wedding day, and this day was no exception. Sophie & Ben were amazing from start to finish and just gave me one very simple instruction: crack on and do your thing. Trust is such a massive part of the relationship between a couple and their photographer and is something I put a real premium on. I want every couple I work with to feel totally comfortable and at-ease with me, so they can just crack on and enjoy their day to the full.
Sophie & Ben – thank you so much for having me. I had a blast with you and all your guests and I’m so glad you love your photos as much as I loved making them. If you’re planning a chilled-out East Quay wedding and would like to chat about me telling your story, get in touch and lets get the ball rolling. I’d love to hear more about your plans for the day.
Okay, that’s enough from me. Time to enjoy some photos. Ladies & Gents, Sophie & Ben…
