So, this was my first Chiddingstone Castle wedding, but I really hope it’s not my last! What a place! So beautiful, so much history, but also such a fun, relaxing spot in the Kentish countryside. Especially on a beautiful, sunny day in June. Which is exactly what Rochelle + Alex had last year. And what a day it was!
It was also a day for some familiar faces for me, as Rochelle’s bridesmaids Becky & Alex were also bridesmaids for Danielle + Simon back in 2022. This is also how Rochelle + Alex found me, which is always such an awesome way to book weddings in. I’ll never take personal recommendations for granted. It’s always so lovely to know people have had such a good experience with me that they’re happy to recommend me to their friends.

After a super-chilled morning getting ready, we got to enjoy the sunshine and walk down through the trees in the castle grounds to the local church in Chiddingstone for the ceremony. A church that was crammed full of sunflowers. These guys really did embrace the spring wedding vibes and brought all the colours to the party. After a lovely church ceremony, we all headed back to Chiddingstone Castle via the same path through the trees to relax in the sunshine with a pimms, before speeches, dinner and one hell of a party thanks to the awesome Jazz & the Tonics.
