Okay, so there’s a regular, fun, ‘garden variety’ Braxted Park wedding, and then there’s Kiran + Akash’s all-day epic-fest of a Braxted Park wedding! I absolutely LOVE a full-blown Indian wedding. SO much colour, vibrancy, culture. There’s always so much going on as well, so there’s never a ‘lull’ in proceedings. Kiran + Akash’s wedding was certainly no different.
After the regulation early start and quick wander around to get my bearings, I went and spent the morning with Kiran and her family, while my brilliant friend and 2nd shooter for the day, Adam Beale (check him out, he’s awesome) went to spend the morning with Akash. I have to give a massive shout-out right now to Kiran’s Hair & Makeup team, Alka and Kirran, who were both working for the brilliant team at Ambreen Makeup. They were amazing, creating three different looks for Kiran, who looked incredible all day, and they were super-fun and easy to work with! Thank you ladies!
Braxted Park Wedding
So, Braxted Park is pretty awesome isn’t it?! This was my first trip to Braxted Park but I’m already itching to go back. What a beautiful place to spend a day. Kiran + Akash absolutely used every square inch of the place as well. One traditional Indian wedding ceremony under the Mandap in the marquee in the morning, one civil ceremony under the pergola in the garden in the afternoon and a ma-hoosive party in the evening! So damn much fun! Keep scrolling and you’ll see what I mean.

If you’re reading this and you’re planning your own Braxted Park wedding and you’re keen to chat to me about coming along to spend the day with you, get in touch and let’s get the ball rolling. I book a limited number of weddings per year, so I can give my all to every couple I work with, and peak slots get booked out pretty quickly, so let’s get cracking. I’d love to hear more about your plans for your day.
But, for now, have a little scroll through the joyous story that is Kiran + Akash…
