I won’t lie to you, my first time as a Bore Place Wedding photographer has set the bar pretty high! Rene & Jon hosted a truly awesome day with their nearest and dearest and I loved every minute of it. Getting in amongst it on a day like this is brilliant fun. Both Rene & Jon just wanted to concentrate on having a blast with their friends and family and wanted as little ‘tradition’ as possible. Music to my ears!
Right from the get-go, the mood was totally relaxed and fun. Everyone had huge smiles on their faces all day long, including during the giant post-dinner tug-of-war! Yep, how many weddings have you been to that have had a tug-of-war? If you’re thinking about it, do it!
Bore Place Wedding
After a super-relaxed morning at Bore Place at the hands of Hayley and Elly from Flame Beauty, Rene and her Bridesmaids set off for the church in a vintage red Rolls Royce. After a lovely service a few face-full’s of confetti, everyone headed back to Bore Place for a great afternoon of canapés, bubbles and plenty of laughs.
The post-dinner tug-of-war turned into a North vs South contest, with the North taking the honours after a dominant display! If nothing else, the exercise definitely got everyone warmed up for the dancing. Music was provided by the guys and girls from the No Limits Street Band who kept everyone on their feet.
