Okay, let’s talk about Laura & Tom and their hall-of-fame Balcombe Place wedding. And I really mean hall-of-fame! This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever shot. Fact. I first met Laura back in 2020 at Julia & Phil’s gorgeous wedding during lockdown. We laughed hard over the fact that Laura just couldn’t stop crying all day (happy tears, of course!). So when she and Tom got in touch with us and told us about their plans, we couldn’t be more excited.
As you know, I always love those weddings where Jess and I get to spend the day together with our couples, so when Laura & Tom made sure this was going to be a Ceremony wedding, things got even more exciting! I kicked things off on the Friday evening (in the pouring rain) with a quick couple shoot under the viaduct down the road from the venue, before we all headed back to Balcombe Place for a pre-wedding day dinner with Laura & Tom’s family & closest friends. After a solid night’s kip, we got stuck into the Saturday and had the best time. Keep scrolling, the photos really do show just how much fun we all had.
Balcombe Place Wedding
So, if you’ve not been there before, Balcombe Place is nestled in the Sussex countryside, and it’s bloody brilliant. The team there are all amazing, they run a super-slick day and the vibe when you walk in the door is always relaxing and friendly. Basically, if you’re after a lovely country house vibe for your wedding, this is the place for you!
Sussex Wedding Photographer
Now, if you’ve landed here because you’re planning your own Balcombe Place wedding and you’re still after a photographer, I’d absolutely love to hear from you! I’m itching to get back to Balcombe Place asap! So, get in touch and let’s kick things off. I do book a limited number of weddings each year and peak dates tend to get booked out pretty quickly, so don’t hang around, let’s get chatting.
Massive love to Laura, Tom and all their family and friends for being the most awesome crew on the day. We had the best time with you all and we’re so grateful to have been there to share the day with you all. What a day it was!
Cheers all. Big love from Ebbage HQ. Here they are…
