Here is a simple equation for you; Nikki + Jono + their at-home marquee wedding in the Surrey hills = heaven! Absolute & total heaven. It’s basically the dream scenario for any Surrey wedding photographer. Also, because the legal bit was already done, Nikki + Jono chose to have a beautiful celebrant-lead ceremony in a very meaningful spot.

So, sadly Jono’s Father passed away in February. His ashes were scattered under a giant tree in the woods behind their family home, where Jono and his brother spent their childhoods playing. Can you think of a better spot to have your wedding ceremony? Nope, me neither! The celebration was lead by Karlina from Blessings & Ceremonies, who was amazing! If you’re thinking about having a celebrant-lead ceremony, go and get her booked in!

Marquee Wedding in the Surrey Hills

This marquee wedding in the Surrey hills is already sounding pretty cool, right? Well, it get’s even better! Nikki and her bridal party were driven from the house up into the woods in a brace of original Land Rover Defenders. Watching the convoy heading up the trails into the trees was pretty awesome, and certainly was a way to arrive in style. After their ceremony, everyone walked down the trail through the trees and into the field next to the house, where they had their reception drinks, before heading into the marquee for dinner.

After a wonderful meal, everyone partied the night away to the amazing Michael G Moore. Man alive this guy is amazing!! His piano was covered in post-it notes with requests, and I don’t think there was a single one he couldn’t or didn’t play! What a total legend!!
